Depreciation Lands Museum
Allison Park,
PA
At pioneer camp, the year is 1792. Revolutionary War soldiers have been purchasing land in western PA with Depreciation Land certificates. The Iroquois are still reluctant to give up their hunting grounds, though, and now the land has also been opened to homesteaders! Campers will choose to experience life as an Indian, pioneer, or soldier. Each day features time to work on a craft, prepare foods, and learn the skills required to survive & thrive during the early days of the Depreciation Lands.
