The Heinz History Center will host the 20th Annual History Uncorked, Pittsburgh’s premier party for young professionals, on Friday, Feb. 16, 2018 from 7-11 p.m.
History Uncorked: Roaring ’20s, presented by BNY Mellon, will offer an evening of fun, discovery, dancing, and activities that all partygoers will enjoy – not to mention great food and beverages from local Pittsburgh eateries. History Uncorked: Roaring ’20s will feature live entertainment, photo booths, a silent auction, and the ever-popular fifth floor dance party.
This year’s event will be inspired by the History Center’s upcoming traveling exhibition, American Spirits: The Rise and Fall of Prohibition, which will step back in time to an era of flappers, suffragists, bootleggers, and real-life legends like Al Capone and Carrie Nation. American Spirits brings the Prohibition era vividly to life through more than 100 rare artifacts and original ratification copies of the 18th and 21st Amendments. 1920s attire is encouraged!
Guests must be age 21 and over to attend and must provide ID at door.
