Nabhi Christian Ministries (NCM) in partnership with Faith Lutheran Church, Walmart, PGH. TACO TRUCK, ABC, Townsend Press and Eat'n Park will sponsor the 20th Kids Coats for Warmth Christmas Party and Gingerbread House Contest.
Many kids in Allegheny County continue to struggle on a daily basis to survive and enjoy a meal in the midst of drugs and violence, poor living conditions, broken families and inadequate educational opportunities. Christmas comes and goes only with a sense of longing possibly turning into a crisis!
To bring Christmas joy and to help reduce viruses, bacterial infections and other dreaded childhood illnesses that can be affiliated with cold weather, NCM and their partners will once again provide meals and new winter coats to help keep kids warm through the cold-winter months. Kids will also enjoy a great holiday party emceed by a Life Skill's comedian with live entertainment, a visit from Santa and his dancing elves and travel to Santa’s toy and literacy workshop for toys and books to improve their ability to access valuable reading resources written to inspire and help them learn the language skills needed for success.
In addition, kids and their families have the opportunity to learn "pay-it-forward leadership skills" for NCM's 20th Anniversary, by donating $1 towards their supplies when entering NCM's popular Drug-Free Gingerbread House Contest (judged only by effort and family participation),
Limited Online Registration for ages 3-12 Only is now open at: www.nabhiministries.org
