Part of the former U.S. Steel Homestead Works and scene of the infamous Battle of Homestead in 1892, the Pump House and Water Tower are being redeveloped by Rivers of Steel National Heritage Area as an interpretive site for the history of the mill and a trailhead for the Steel Valley Heritage Trail.
