Free Brakes For Food
Murrysville Auto Clinic offers free brakes to support food-shelves
(Murrysville, PA) In an effort to help local food-shelves collect food and baby supplies just as the holiday season begins, owners and employees of Murrysville Auto Clinic in Murrysville will install free brakes for clients’ cars when they bring in nonperishable food items and baby supplies to help restock extremely low inventory.
“We’ve always wanted to help in a bigger way and finally found a way to do that,” said Cody Downes, co-owner of Murrysville Auto Clinic. “As a neighborhood business, contributing to the lives of those in the community is important to us and our employees. For the second year in a row, we’re hoping to help rebuild the food supply and household needs that are impacted heavily throughout the holidays, when more children are in need,” added Bruce Downes, president of Murrysville Auto Clinic. This year our goal is 1.2 tons.
Anyone who would like to help participate in the challenge of restocking the local food shelf’s empty shelves and get free brakes is encouraged to bring nonperishable food, household supplies, or cash donations to Murrysville Auto Clinic, 3835 Old William Penn Highway., Murrysville, PA. Call 724-327-2525 for more details.
By Thanksgiving, the food shelves are almost empty because parents are paying higher utility bills. Household supplies are depleted as well, and the Christmas season is about to begin, the need for supplies is increased dramatically.
