With Principal Guest Conductor Leonard Slatkin, Olga Kern brings her powerful artistry to Rachmaninoff's virtuosic Piano Concerto No. 3, a piece she performed at the 11th Van Cliburn International Piano Competition. Respighi's beautiful Ancient Airs and Dances, Suite III, showcases the PSO's strings. The Third Symphony established William Schuman as one of the great American composers.
