This acoustic jazz duo is part of guitarist Ron Wilson's "Meet the Bassist" series. The ensemble performs in the intimate "supper club" jazz style made popular during the 1950's by artists such as Jim Hall, Kenny Burrell, Ed Bickert and Barney Kessel.
The featured bassist, Paul Thompson is one of Pittsburgh's own fine musicians, and has performed with many jazz greats including Stanley Turrentine, Maynard Ferguson, and George Benson.
